Shield Slam is a CRPG database and fantasy gaming blog. It was originally conceived and built as a proof-of-concept in 2014. The project was resumed in late 2019 and finally published in early 2020.
The purpose of Shield Slam is not to be a massive wiki or to compete with other major video game database or news sites. This is a passion project for me, and I’ve kept the scope practical in terms of my own personal time and resources. My mission with Shield Slam is simply to create something cool. A small, high-quality and heavily-curated showcase honoring the history and future of PC roleplaying games.
The site is still very new, and nearly everything is still deep in development. Most entries are missing data and many are missing altogether. If you think this site is a cool idea, I ask that you stick around and be patient to see how things develop. There may not be much here now, but there’s a whole lot on the way.
